Multiple Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Specialty Show at the ISWS Nationals 06, Best Puppy in Show Rarities IABCA UCICB Int Ch Kohana's Pardon My Dust Sweet , lovable, beautiful and social Dusty arrived in California in late September of 08, and comes to us from the wilds of Pennsylvania. We're proud to co own this lovely lad with Cyndi Dell of Morgandell Borzoi and Silken Windhounds Dusty was bred and is loved by Christine Port of Kohana Silkens
Dusty with Sally Barron of Barron's Borzoi at the Silken Windhounds of California Regionals in 08 Dusty made his show debute in California at the Western Regional Silken Windhound Specialty shows in October of 08 , garnering a respectible 4th place in a large Open dog class in both specialty shows. Not bad considering he'd just been a California boy for less than a week!
Dusty trotting out, at the Ca Regionals handled by Audrey Hsia of Stout Hearted Hounds In his limited time here so far, Dusty has been in two shows and attended two races, and he's gotten a big dose of California sun and wind, as well as a hearty welcoming pat from most of the California Silken community at the Western Regional Specialty he made his debute at !
Dusty in the show ring In September of 09, Dusty showed again at the IABCA shows, and garnered four out of four best of breed awards, and several group placements in some stiff competition and won his IABCA UCICB Int Ch! We're really proud of our little guys beginning show career ! Dusty and Cyndi Dell Dusty sired one litter for his breeder, Kohana Silkens. He passed on his lovely style, coat ,and temperament to his pups. This was a lovely litter with some stellar babies that can be seen on the Kohana Silken Windhound website here.
Dusty hamming it up for the camera There's nothing better than food in Dusty's book, and he'll gladly follow anyone into any sort of nonesense as long as they have a bit of cheese. He's also begun a career as a kitchen assistant, and is perfectly willing to help with any sort of treat disposal.
Dusty contemplates California life in the show ring We're looking forward to seeing Dusty settle in to his new lifestyle , and we hope he gets to shine, not only on Cyndi's couch, but as a stellar outgoing Silken PR hound as well as a show dog!
